Wilmington Messenger: There is a controversy just now over the relative cotton consumption bv the mills ol I'.eorgia and South Carolina. The last showing is in favor of Georgia, although South Carolina is gaining upon il friendly rival and is not tar behind, Such rivalries are not objtctionaMc.
