The new site chosen for Dr. Talmage's Tabernacle, Greene and Clinton avenues. Hrooklvn, is one of the finest in that city. It is on the crest of the fashiona ble quarter and surrounded by line churches. Bishop I.oughliu's splendid residence and the immense Cathedral ol the Immaculate conception, one ol the largest edifices in the country, a chapel, and the foundations of which are al ready built, will be on the next block be low the Tabernacle. Some surprise is expressed at the slowness with which the financial replies are made to Dr. Tal mage's appeal for help. The starting o! the new edifice, it is hoped, will make the desired change. Continued Bargains at Law's. In order to reduce the stock in many lines, during the rest of this month, a large reduction will lie made on many fine anil common goods, varying trom ten to twenty-five per cent.
