FIERCE FIUHT, Two Colored Women Have a Row Over The Their Lover. Texas Weaver and Julia Shuford, a brace of dusky damsels got into trouble yesterday. It appears that Texas once had a lover, but he of late days had been paving court to ulia. who was of a slightly less dusky shade than Texas. On learning this, Texas vowed vengeance declaring that no "yuller gal" could walk 'round her that way. So she has been on the lookout for Julia for several days. Yesterday about 11 o'clock the women met near the pho tograph tent on Patton avenue. With out much ado, Texas set upon Julia, beine armed with an uglv looking knile She made a dozen ferocious threats at lulia who fought in self-defense. But the knife shut up on Texas' ha"d and the only damage was tome torn clothing on lulia's body, and a cut on Texas' hand, made by her own knife, Officers Wild and Creasman marched the women before Recorder Miller, who re leased Julia and turned Texas over to Solicitor t-arter.
