Two were sent to jail and two gave bond for their ap pearance at the next tertnot tbe criminal court. Chief W. H. Deaver, of the Tinion de tective agency, has been at work on the case since that time. On Saturday night Deaver, accompanied bv Patrolmen No InnH nnd Triulett. went down to the passenger depot and arrested John L, Deprato-and J. D. Moncrief, on a charge of complicity in the robberies. Deprato was a freight conductor on the Western road, while Moncrief was a flagman on Deprato's train. The men were arrested just after having come in from a run from Hot Springs. Neither of the men made any resistance. The information which led to the ar rest of the men was given by B. R. Haw kins, the company's agent at Flat Rock, on the Asheville and Spartanburg road, tn Henderson county.
