He, Is Doug Harbison, who led the team in the final weeks of the 1918 campaign with or more or less suc cess. Tom Clark was reserved by Co lumbia for the coming season but it is known that he has ambitions to manage a higher class league. Billy Laval hibernates at Oreenville where he has many friends. Them were many who believed that the league moguls made a mistake in not adding Gastonla and Asheville to the circuit. Among tnese are presi dent Felix Hayman of the Charlotte club. THE BEST OF EVERYTHING Read What Mr. Allen Has to Say of His 10-20 Titan Tractor: . Fletcher. N. C. February 20th, 1919. Messrs. T. S. Morrison Ac Co. Asheville, N. C. Gentlemen: " In answer to your inquiry as to what I think of the 10-20 Titan Tractor and McKay Disc Plow, bought of you last spring. . I must say that I am more than pleased with their work. I have plowed six acres per day in stiff clay land that had never been plowed over six inches deep with horses, and this land did not burn from drouth last summer, and will also let heavy rain soak down very fast; in fact, the 10-20 Titan is the greatest labor-saving machine I have ever owned. I can plow, harrow, cut corn and grain with binders, fill silo and shred. I pulled my thresher last summer from farm to farm with my engine, a saving of considerable time and the use of six to eight horses and never had the least trouble in operating in any way. The beauty about the Tractor, "it don't eat ' only while it works, and at that, about what it takes to feed two good horses," and does the work of six to eight, with the help of one man.
