As an example of what substantial prosperity attaches to a comedy of this sort. "Pollyanna" is slgnincant, for it is one of the real money-makers. It shows that theatre goers are wearied hy the dull, de pressing drab things that occasionally overrun the stage and soon perish from malnutrition.
