SERVICES TODAY FOR AGED SKYLAND LADY Funeral services will bo held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at New Salem church at Skyland for Mrs. Sophronla Heece, aged 67, who died at her home In Skyland last Friday night. PRICE'S BODY TAKEN BACK HOME The body of Mrs. Margaret Price was taken yesterday afternoon to her former home at Clarksvllle, Mo. Mrs. Price died at the home of her son here. Rev. T. B. Price, and at the time of her death Rev. Mr. Price was iat Fayetteville, where he was con ducting revival services. Rev. Mr. Price accompanied the body and it Is understood that inter ment will take place at Clarksvllle tomorrow afternoon. Tho Parent-Teacher association of Orange street school will hold Its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock in tho us ual room at the school. The presentation of this photograph, which has been remarkably preserved and which pictures the war governor In a life like resemblance will ho a feature of the exercises Monday. It has been announced through a mis take that a hand painted portrait would be presented the veterans, this has been Corrected by members of the Asheville chapter who have had the genuine photograph of tho great gov ernor, made on one of the most mem orable days In the history of this state, mounted and who will present it to the veterans of the camp which bears the name of the late governor. C en listed in the coast artillery corps -for three years and will be sont to school at Fort Slocum, N. V., Frank K. Neal of Anderson, enlisted In the coast ar tillery corps for three years and will be sent to Fort Thomas, K. Y., and from there will bo transferred to a coast fort. Fred M. Stlnwlnter of Scroll, and Mark Ownbey, of Fletcher, enlisted in the chemical warfare service and both will be stationed at Fort Thomas, Ky. Klngsmore, who died at . the home of his daugh ter, Mrs. W. B. Plemmons, In West Asheville last Friday. The deceased was a farmer by occupation and was well known In his community. Ho Is survived by two daughters and three sons, they are: S. W. Kings more, of Augusta, Oa., formerly of this city; Len Klngsmore, of Green ville, S. C.j Mrs. M. B.
