The library will be open only for the taking out and return of. books, being- cloned for reading purposes. Iiecause of this the library will close dally at 7 p. m. .Loitering In the library, using; It as a place for meeting friends or ai waiting room, ana garnering in groups Is not permissible. Not more -than four persons are to be at the book desk at one time, the health department - being insistent that grouping be eliminated. Pa trons are asked to remain away from the desk until 'those there are served by the librarians. Thp library board and librarians earnestly ask the co-operation of the public lri carrying out regulations which It Is hoped will be but briefly temporary. The cluss of people who use the library makes it probable that patrons will conform cheerfully to temporary inconvenience. NEGRO HELD FOR ASSAULTING AFFAIR Only Court Officials, Attorneys and UUjranta In Case at Issue to Be Admitted. Dr. C. V, Reynolds, city health officer, has upon Iqulry from John H. Cathey regarding the holding of court next week, advised the clerk that the regular three weeks' term of court can be held notwithstand ing the ban put on general public gatherings. However, certain re- strctions were placed when the per mission to hold the court was grant ed. . . , No persons will be allowed In the court room save the. Judge, jury court attendants, lawyers and liti gants actually engaged In the ques tion at Issue. Tt Is bolleved that with the placing of these restrictions which the sheriff and ills deputies will stringently enforci, that no detrimen tal effects will ensue from the hold ing of the court. It is further pointed out that this being only a civil term that it will only be necessary for a few persons to be In the court room at a time. Cornelius King, a . young colored boy, was tried yesterday before Mag istrate T. F. Hunter, ' charged with Interferring with an officer in dis charge of his duties, and assault on an officer with a rock. .Probable cause was found and bond was fixed at $200 and he was bound over to superior court, and will probably be tried during the. first week of March. Dobbs and Dunlaps at $9.00 Up Wearing of rings has been a custom from the begin' ning of the world. Ancient rulers conferred authority by giving their subordinates rings. The form of a ring can never change but its design will vary. For many years wedding rings have been the same plain gold band, varying only in the width. The wedding ring in the time of Louis XVI was a work of art The new wedding ring, chased,' set with diamonds and otherwise embel lished, made in gold and platinum, has surpassed the ancient ring in its beauty and perfection. We have these rings in all the hew designs made in green, white and yellow gold, or platinum set with diamonds. HENDERSON Your Jeweler 52 Patton Ave. .
