Some two weeks since the store of W. O. Elliott was entered, aud the night afterwards the store of H. A. Bond was tried. Dvld Lee also, about a week since, shot through his glass door after someone trying to enter his jewelry Aop. Thursday night last, about mid night, R. J. Mitchell, Esq., was aroused oy a knock at his dwelling door. He at once hailed the party from his room window. They refused to give their names and demanded him to come down and open the door. Mr. Mitchell de clined to do so and ordered them to leave the yard. They lingered for some time, after which they went into the street and stood for several hours in con vprs:ition.
