The Troy Press has been in formed by a local manufacturer of fine grades of linen collars that he has come to the conclusion. after the expenditure of many thousands of dollars, that news paper pays better than any other form of advertising. He prefers it even to that of hh grade magazinesand is entirely without faith in flaring announcements on buildings, fences or bill boards. He says the high prices exacted by first-class magazines necessitate a heavy outlay for a small advertisement, while the same amount of money put into a good family newspaper enables one to make a most conspicious and attractive showing. The testimony of the Troy manufac turer is in accord with the expe rience of shrewd, intelligent ad vertisers who know how impor tant it is in these modern days to keep in daily communication with the purchasing public Buffalo Courier.
