CLUB TO MEET TONIGHT Regular meeting of the Busi ness and Professional Women’s club, which was to have been held Monday night of this week, post poned until tonight (Thursday). The meeting will be held with Mrs. Carl McCrary at Sea Shore, and will feature a picnic and fish fry, in addition to the transaction of necessary business pertaining to the club. It is expected that a large number of members will take advantage of Mrs. McCrary’s hospitality to meet at her delight ful summer home in the Cedar Mountain section. Miss Etta Brown, of the Institute fac ulty, chaperoned the young peo ple. _ Following the swim, a bountiful picnic supper was enjoyed around the camp fire. SUMMER GUESTS ARE HONORED AT DANCE Miss Cornelia Ratchford was hostess at a dance Wednesday night at her home on the Turnpike road, honoring her three friends from A.eheville, Misses Julia Bell, Edna Kimberly, and Eloise Shep pard, who are spending several days in Brevard. Those enjoying the hospitality of Miss Ratchford on this occasion included friends from Asheville and Brevard.
