METHODIST REVIVAL
IN PROGRESS HERE
Rev. C. N. Clark Delivering
Inspiring Messages Each
Evening at 7:30
Revival services at the Brevard
Methcdist church began Sunday
morning with the Rev. C. N. Clark,
pastor of the Canton Methodist
church, doing the preaching.
Services are being held each
night this week at 7:30 o’clock and
will continue in nightly services
through Sunday night according to
present plans. The Rev. Mr. Clark,
a man of pleasing personality, is
delivering forceful and inspiring
gospel mesasges each night. A good
attendance and much interest is be
ing manifested on the part of the
church members, as well as by mem
bers of other denominations.
The two weeks’ revival at the
Baptist church came to a close Fri
day night ot last week, after a suc
cessful series of special meetings,
conducted by Rev. fcl. Gibson Davis,
pastor of the First Baptist church
of Asheville.
It is the general belief that the
Methodist revival following almost
immediately after the Baptist meet
ing will both result in much good
to the church memberships as well
as to the community.
