We nil had ‘a good time and told Mr. Goforth all the lies we could think of. Con sul Commander Goforth started a membership contest. He and Advisor ; Lieutendant will divide the Camp into two teams and start after new choppers, the losing team will ' cat the winning team to a supper. Dr. T. 0. Grigg of Shelby thinks later on this Spring his Camp can iucieafe the membership. We hope so Dr. In Memory Of Little Nancy Elizabeth Galloway We shall meet, but we shall miss her, There will bo one vacant chair, We shall linger to caress her, While we breathe our evening prayer, When a year ago we gathered, Joy was in her dear bright eyes. But a golden cord is severed, And our hopes in ruin lies. At our fire side, sad and lonely, Often will our bosom swell, At lemembrance of the stories, That our Nancy used to tell, Mow we used to sit and listen, As the evening took it’s flight, Krowing not of her great mission, Of her soul beyond our sight. Tuie they tell us wreath of glory. Ever more will deck her bri/w. But this soothes the anguish only Sweeping o’er our heart-string* now, Sleep today, Oh, early fallen, In thy green and narrow bed, But some day we’ll hear her calling. When our tears have all been shed. - .Mrs. Eli Muggins No, a penny in the collection hard ly counts as a down payment on a harp.
