The people of this community had
a good day at the election last Sat
urday. The only discordant note was
the appearance of a dosen ballots
which one woman said wer* “home
made/" and which had the marks of
"illegality” stamped on their faces,
indicating that in this count* at least

were bountiful., well prepared and
courteously nerved.
It is indeed a pleasure to work in
a community where the cooperation
of the people is so nearly perfect in
things that are clean, wholesome and
promote the best interests of the peo
ple. We want to again thank these
good women and girls for their splen
did efficient work. We also feel
grateful to those who so faithfully
