EIGHTH GRADE PUPILS GIVE PLAY AT CHAPEL The eighth grade pupiis of Rosman high school presented a play en titled, “Be A Little Cuckoo,” as the chapel program oh Friday morning. The play was about a lady, Mrs. Parker, writing a play and the char acters thought the play terrible, but she thought it was good. When they thought they would have to be in the play anyway, the phone rang and Mrs. Parker answered it. She re turns and says that she isn't going to give the play because she has sold it. After she leaves, the girls arc surprised to hear that Mike, the community house matron’s friend, had played the trick on Mrs. Parker by pretending he was a gentleman from New York who wanted to buy the play so that the matron would not have to take the cuckoo’s part. The cast of characters included: Harriet, Ruby Glazener; Mar jorie; Dovie White; Anna, Geneva Petit; Lizzie, Blanche Petit; ami Mrs. Parker, Lucile Galloway. REV.
