Question-—Do you think that Bre
vard College should have a girls bas
ketball team?
Answers— Ruth Pickelsimer—Sure
since the girls, don't have anything
else to do in their spare time, basket
ball vtfiuld keep them out otf mischief
and keep them from flirting with the
boys.
Dan Williams—Yes, it would help
them in a lot of ways and girls can
take it.
Lisa Carson—Sure, I think that
girls are just as important as boys
and they can take it
Wocdrow Patton—Yeah, it would
make some of the girls get thinner.
Josephine Jones—Yes, if the boys
Lan so can we.
^Tom Camel—No, they are not phy
Hally capable.
^Elizabeth Hamlin—Yeah, it is only
Pair because the boys have had all
^the athletics so far. The girls crack
every time they move from the lack
of exercise.
Ralph Eleridge—Absolutely yes, so
the boys can watch them.
Emma Deaver — So we can see
things through the eyes of a basket
ball.
Coach James—We will have a girls
basketball team if emlugh students
buy Athletic Association ticket*
which will be sold at $2.00 each and
which will admit the purchaser to all
basketball and baseball games.

Turner and Heckard were Out

battle. Heckard played a game which
j could easily be classed intercollegiate

j Wilkinson and Heckard carried
the ball across for touchdowns in
j the first and third periods, each
touchdown displaying t h >e, Clio
strength.
Wilkinson was dynamite in the line
while Graham’s coolness in passing
and punting was outstanding. j
The Delphian society was favored;
to win and sentiment was running i
high. The supporters on the sidelines j
were tense and over-enthused.
James Proffitt, Brevard’s prised i
