Mrs. Ward died In a hospital at Spartanburg, April 12. She Is survived by her husband and nine children, her mother, Mrs. Eliza beth Summey, three sisters and three brothers. Davis Barton, who has been staying with his slater, Mrs. Charles Galloway, a Ettowah, for the past few weeks, has returned to his home here. The district missionary society will meet with Mnf. Miss Molly Albritton, to Henry Edward Hudson of Asheville. The wedding will be solemnized Saturday evening, May 4, at the First Baptist church. Prom inent In social and musical circles of Hopkinsville, Miss Albritton Is a grad uate of Hopkinsville high school, Bethel Woman's college and the University of North Carolina, where she was a member of Chi Omega national social sorority. Miss Albritton has been an active member of the local Girl’s Cotillion club. She recently held a position as secretary to Noble J. Gregory, Ken tucky representative to congress. Mr. Hudson is a graduate of Ashe ville high school and the University of North Carolina. He is the nephew of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Israel of Ashe ville) and a nephew of G. Israel, of Rosman, and has visited here a number of times. He holds a position with the Pied-1 mont Athletic supply company of Chapel Hill and is manager of the i Durham Health center at that city.
