There are three troops in Bre vard, two Scout and one Brownie troop, with a total membership of around 80. Mrs. Ashe Macfie and Mrs. John Pickelsimer are leaders of troop 1. Mrs. Lehman Kapp and Mrs. Earl Bryant are leaders of troop 2, and Mrs. John Reese Sledge and Miss Elizabeth Allison are leaders of the Brownies. All three troops meet weekly and starting next week they will meet in their new hall over the city market here. “We are proud of our new meeting place, but we need some more furniture, espec ially chairs and tables,” Mrs. Macfie pointed out. ENJOYABLE PARTY - FROM PAGE ONE -_ Credit for the impressive light ing arrangement and the sound effects which added so much to the enjoyment of the program is due to Wayne Conn, who in this way has contributed materially to previous parties. Square dancing was enjoyed both before and after the singing. The Ecusta string band furnished the music. Quite a few of the guests came dressed in costume and sev eral of those present elected to ■play bridge instead of dancing.
