By enlisting in the WAC you will not only be releasing a soldier for combat duty, but will help obviate the necessity of doubling the number of fathers drafted for military service next year. A state ment has recently been released from Washington to the effect that unless more WACs are enlisted soon, the quota of married men with children will be doubled. Noni Jaramillo of Los Ange les, Calif., age 23, before entering the service January 8, 1943, was assistant underwear buyer for the Marathon Underwear Corp. in Los Angeles. She was selected for re cruiting duty and reported to Fort Bragg, N. C., in March of this year. On Sept. 7, she was transfer red to the U. S. Army Recruiting Station, P. O. Bldg. Asheville, N. C.
