New officers were elected for the following year and a Christmas program followed with several prizes offered for va rious contests, and a gift exchange after which refreshments were served by the hostess. CHURCH NOTES The BTU rally Friday night was a wonderful success. Those who at tended are witness to that fact and those who did not surely missed a grand meeting. However the re freshment committee does apol ogize to those who could not be served. The crowd exceeded their expectations so far that the food could not be stretched to meet the | demand. The WMS will have their Lottie I Moon Christmas program at the church on Thursday night, Dec. 12 J at 8 o’clock. They invite the church membership and plan to present an interesting program followed by a fellowship hour with refresh ments in the church parlor. The regular 2nd Sunday night singing convention mot Sunday and as usual, there was standing | room only by the time the sing i ing got underway.
