night was held in Galloway’s cafe
here and the Masonic hall.

ed at $1,000. William Jordan was
contesting the ownership.
A judgment was signed in the
case of O. K. Whitfield against T.
W. Whitmire stating that Whit
field is the owner of property in
dispute. An appeal was noted.
Eight divorces were granted, but
one of them has not become final
as costs have not been paid.
