SVWVTA, 90k'T FORCEt! Thisl1uttle boy anb cf^~l telling Santa Claus what they wish for Christ maS iJi ni^ht ride of this jolly old saint, and his ludicrous scramble down chimneys, is one of the greatest joys and most cherished memories of childhood. ' spirit of giving and receiving at this festal season helps to develop the finer impulses of those who celebrate Christmas in the traditional manner. We should impress upon children, however, that it is a time to think less of ourselves and more of the pleasure and benefit we can bring to others. But giving and receiving should not be permitted to overshadow the deep spiritual significance of the great Church festival. It should be hailed and welcomed as the birthday of the world's Savior. We celebrate the birthdays of many famous people; but the birthday of Jesus is the most important day in history. His life, his character, his faith, is the foundation of all that is good in human life. Children soon learn that Santa Claus is a jolly myth. They must be taught that Jesus is the Savior:— ine Prince of Peace. •.. imRCH ^2^£s=53? Sr 0/2’/s pen«e^“ "^,,®tr°"- S f°; ,f Copyright 1946 by B. E. Keister.
