Funeral For Mooney Held On Wednesday Hillard Mooney, 73, one of the oldest colored residents of Tran sylvania county, died Sunday morn ing at his home in the Glade Creek section. He had been in poor health for some time. Funeral services were held Wed nesday afternoon at the Glade Creek Baptist church and burial was in the French Broad ceme tery. Survivors include the widow, Frances Mooney; one daughter, Lu genia Simmons, of the home; a son, Narvail Mooney, Washington, D. C., a sister, four brothers and two grandsons. Moore funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Wildlife Club To Meet Thursday Transylvania Wildlife club will meet Thursday night over the city hall at 7:30 o’clock. Brown Carr was the principal speaker at a dinner meeting of the Men’s Fellowship club of the First Baptist church Tuesday night in Gaither’s Rhododendron room.
