Omihihi. jj t . | Rosman High News ] CHAPEL PROGRAM Thursday afternoon in chapel we enjoyed a movie on how our moun tain streams are affected by log ging, grazing and farming. Before the movie began, Mr. Keisler, agriculture teacher, gave us a few important points on the subject. P.OSMAN HIGH SIGN A Rosman high sign was hung at the top of the front entrance Tuesday morning. All the students were very much surprised when they saw this handiwork by one of the Rosman seniors, Edward Pax ton. We all agree that this makes cur school more beautiful. ROSMAN WINS First we want to start off by tell ing you people that if you didn’t see the game Tuesday night you real ly missed a game of your life. There was Rosman out of the floor with Brevard. The last time Brevard said, “Just wait until next time.” Now they say, that they wish Rosman had a football team; Rosman wishes the same thing. Amid the many boos and oh’s here is an account of the games: In the girls’ game, Clara Bert Calla ham led the scoring for Rosman and the game with 15 points while leading her team to a 41-23 win. Margaret Biddy led the losers with 9 points. Rosman led at the half, 13 to 11, before breaking loose in the last half to compile an 18-point lead. After quite a thrilling and excit ing game the Rosman boys racked up 74 points, while the Brevard team had only 44 little points. That is pretty good basketball, boys.
