The final score, when the smoke had cleared away, was 34 to 15. The seniors led all the way and were never in trouble. The game started with the seniors scoring on the tip-off and from there on it was the juniors bringing the ball down to about the center line and being stopped by the guards and then a pass to one of the boys un der the basket and “presto” a bas ket for the 12th grade. The greater heights enabled the seniors to hold the ball over their heads and wear the juniors out jumping for it. The players were seen by the spectators like this: Frantz Whitmire and his snowbird, Tom Mahoney and his crazy rights, Lester Gillespie and his beautiful lay up, Ed Paxton and his wild shots, and Sonn G. hitting some uni dentified juniors in the stomach, so you see, juniors you must re spect your elders. A HUGE SUCCESS The seniors presented “Are You Kidding” in the Rosman high school auditorium Thursday night. We were amazed at the large crowd attending the play. Before the curtain was drawn, Olivene Jones, chief usher, present ed Mrs. Hogsed a very beautiful corsage of yellow carnations. Now that the junior and senior plays are over maybe we can do a little more work on our subjects. We want to wish the senior class next year a great success with their play.
