Brush suede bags with a rubber sponge to keep them from getting a “shine.” Don’t allow your handbag to be come a scrap bag. Carry only the essentials for your needs. Miss Hilbert suggests that as a precautionary step, when bags are not in use, it’s a wise idea to keep them in a drawer to protect them. Try using crushed tissue paper to preserve the shape of soft leather or fabric handbags. Pep up your white sauce with a little prepared mustard.
