Sale of Real Estate forTaxes
Under and by virtue of the power vested in me by the
laws of the State of North Carolina, particularly by Chap
ter 310 of the Public Laws of 1939, as amended, and pur
suant to an order of the Board of Commissioners of Tran
sylvania County, I will offer for sale and will sell at public
auction, for cash, to the highest bidder, at the Courthouse
4loor in Brevard, N. C., at 12 o’clock noon, on
Monday, the 6th day of June, 1955
liens upon real estate described below for the non-payment
of taxes owing for the year 1954, to the County of Transyl
vania and the Town of Brevard, the name of the owner of
or the person who listed the real estate for taxes, the real
estate which is subject to the lien, and the amount of the
lien being set out below. Reference is made to the records
in the office of the Register of Deeds of Transylvania Coun
ty and in the office of the Tax Supervisor for more particu
lar description of said real estate. And notice is hereby giv
en that the amounts of the liens set out below are subject
to the addition of penalties as provided by law, and the
-costs of sale.
