Rice Dies Funeral services for Richard i Rice. 62. of Rosman, who died last Saturday in a Black Mountain hospital, were held Monday in the Zion Baptist Church at Rosman. The Rev. Marvin Murphree offi ciated and burial was in Whitmire cor dery. The body was in state 30 minutes before services. Pallbearers were Arthur Whit mire, Johnn\ Jones, Dorsey Pax ton. Leason Powell, Robert Green and Carl Hendrex. Mr. Rice was a lumber inspector for the Gloucester Lumber com pany. Survivors include the following: the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Scott Galloway, of Brevard; three sons, Clyde, of Lake Toxaway, Bob. of Rock Hill, S. C., and Tracey, of Rosman: three sisters.
