pany are the biggest and best
yet. t
The circulation is also the
largest, according to Charles
Pickelsimer, the general man
^ ager.
Approximately 7,500 were
printed, and naturally, more
listings are carried, since the
company has a record number
of subscribers.
Using the directories as a
guide, the names, McCall and
Owen, are the most popular ones
in Transylvania.
Each had 48 listings.
The Galloways are second with
42, and you guessed it, the
Smiths are next in line with 37
listings.

Joke of the week . . .
An Army recruiting poster
lowntown showed three eager
coking soldiers. The first sol
licr was pictured as saying: ‘T
vant education”; the second: ‘1
.vant travel"; and the third: "I
vant security”.
Underneath, some anonymous
log-face had scrawled in big,
tnack letters: ‘T want out!"
Wo me grateful to Mr. and
Mrs. Roy McCall for sharing
with us part of their last let
ter from their daughter, Mar
tha, who spent Christmas in
Jerusalem.
Martha and her husband
have been teaching with the
TEA Corps, and they said the
most inspirational part of
their travels was in Bethlehem,
where they walked through the
old City and along the way to
the Cross.
She referred to the visitors
in Jerusalem as pilgrims in
stead of tourists, since most
of them are pastors, priests,
nuns, etc.
Their visits included trips to
Jericho, the Dead Sea, the Inn
of The Good Samaritan, the
Mount of Olives and other
famous places.
Their school was out in De
cember, and they plan to ar
rive in New York on February
28th and here in Brevard in
early March.
In the meantime, they will
visit friends in various sections
of Europe.
