This comedy drama, which
also was voted ‘Best Play of
the Year* (1965) by the N. Y.
Drama Critics’ Circle, featur
ed Jack Albertson, Irene Dailey
and Martin Sheen. Albertson
received Broadway’s Tony’
award for his portrayal of the
Father, and later Hollywood’s

’Oscar" tar the film, in which
he etarred with Patricia Neal.
Two parents welcome home
their wily son, who went away
to war a pampered boy and
comes back his own man. The
lack of communication in this
family triangle; the funny,
sometimes poignant efforts to

Mrs. Tibbetts
Dies In SC
Word has been received here
of the death of Mrs. Anne P.
Tibbetts in Rock Hill, South
Carolina, on August 21st. She
was 52.

dren, Mrs. Judy Moore of Bre
vard. Mrs. Jean Williams of
Rock Hill, R. E. Tibbetts, Jr.,
of Orlando, Florida, and Susan
Tibbetts of the home; eight
