REX TAKES THE FIFTH — Veteran British actor Rex Harrison, 63, and his fifth bride, the former Hon. Eliz abeth Harris, pose at the cake-cutting ceremony fol lowing their wedding at the Long Island, N.Y., es tate of lyricist Alan Jay Leraer. The bride is the daughter of Lord and Lady Ogmore of London. The couple planned a honey moon at Harrison’s villa in Portofino, Italy. Mother Of Mrs. Hargis Buried On Wednesday Mrs. Sophia Massengill Pol and, widow of the labe George W. Poland, died at the Reed Nursing Home, Jonesboro, Ten nessee, Sept. 6, 1971, after an extended illness. Mrs. Poland was a member of the Rock Hill Christian Church, Watauga, Tennessee. She was born in Car ter County, Tennessee. Survivors include tw'o daugh ters, Mrs. Thomas F. Hargis, Jr., and Mrs. William A. Bowen of Brevard; five sons, Jentry D. I Poland, of Brevard; Howard Poland, of California, R. H Poland, of California, Ray Po land, of Chicago, and W. G. Po land of Illinois; two brothers, Fleanor Massengill of Johnson City, Tennessee, and George Massengill of Bluff City, Ten nessee; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Ellis of Elizabethton, Tennes see, and Mrs. Oscar Buckles of Watauga, Tennessee; 11 grand children; and seven great-grand children. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1971, in the chapel of Frank Moody Funeral Home. Rev. B. W. Thomason of ficiated and burial followed in the Pisgah Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas F. Hargis, III, Charles L. Bradley, II, Donald W. Russell, Jr.. Tom Page, David Corn, Harold Houck and William A.
