The building is made of con crete blocks and is white in color. The letters TIGER DEN, on top of the building, are ov er the right entrance door. The TIGER DEN has a varsi ty locker room and showers* a J. V. locker room and showers, a ball equipment room, a coach’s office, a trainer’s office and two rest rooms. The floor ing is of desert marble, colored with orange and black tiger stripes. Upon entering the right out-side door, you will see a beautiful tiger’s head embed ed in the flooring of the var sity dressing room. A whirlpool is located in the J. V. dressing room to aid injured players in getting back in top playing shape. Players Of The Week Each week at the pep rally a “player of the week” is an nounced. This award goes to the boy who showed outstand ing performance throughout the entire game. Players of the week for this year have been Sammy Cathey for the game with Tryon. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Carolina Utili ties Commission has instituted an investigation into the matter of non-recurring charges for installations, changes, moves ard reconnections by telephone comnanies operating under its jurisdiction. Non-recurring ser vice charges are now uniform for all of the companies under the jurisdiction of this Com mission, which the Commis sion has recognized as desirable, just and reasonable. Before making any changes in said charges the Commission is of the opinion, finds and con cludes it should enter into an investigation for the purpose of determining whether or not the uniform tariffs now on file with this Commission are just and reasonable and nondiscrim inatory to the general body of existing telephone rate payers. Accordingly, on September 30, 1971, in Docket No. P-100, Sub 27, the Commission has in stituted an investigation into said service charges and set the matter for hearing on Jan uary 25. 1972, at 10:00 o’clock A.
