Masons To Have Big Fish Supper Here October 29 Members of Dunn’s Rock Ma sonic lodge will sponsor a big fish fry with all the trimmings, in the Masonic Temple dining room on East Main Street on Friday, October 29th, it is an nounced by Clifford W Frady, Worshipful Master. W. A. Hart has been appoint ed chairman of the ticket com mittee, and he will be assisted by Gill Thomas, Thomas Payne, Jr., Earl Norton and Paul Higginbotham. Mr. Hart states any of the members who would like to help in selling the tickets can call any of the mem bers of the committee and they will get tickets to them. Serving will be from 4:30 o’clock until 8:00 o’clock, and the price of tickets will be adults, $1.50 per plate and chil dren under the age of 12 can eat for 75c per plate. Takeout boxes will be avail able at 4:30 p.m. A. E. York has been named chairman of the food commit tee and he will be assisted by Floyd Taylor and V. P. The play centers around a witch boy named John who has been made human so that he can marry a beautiful girl nam ed Barbara Allen. The super stitious townspeople begin med dling in their lives and the play ends in violence and trag edy. Eddie Gash will play John, and Janet Capps will play Bar bara Allen. Other members of the cast include Pete Harrison, Linda Summers, John Finn, Charlie Jackson, Susan Huggins, Stephanie Oxley, Kathy Gul back, Ann Reed, Judy Houser, Scott Burton, George Taylor, and David Arledge. In a study conducted by New York University School of Medicine, it was conclud ed that foot injuries such as blisters, caused by illfitting footwear, may lead to fungus infections. One hundred volunteers (some whose feet were kept in healthy condition prior to testing, and others whose feet were deliberately inqured) were used in the study. The volunteers were subjected to direct contact with the fungus that causes athlete’s foot. Many of the men and women with injured feet contracted the infection. It was found that athlete’s foot failed to develop in any of the 23 uninjured volunteers.
