Brevard scored a safety in the sec ond quarter and this was the only score until Eric Crite broke loose for two touch down runs in the fourth quart er. Richard Kilgore added four points on two conversion runs after the Brevard touch downs. The entire Mite defense was outstanding as they held the Old Fort attack in check throughout the game. Crite continued to exhibit his foot ball talent on the two broken filed touchdown runs he made. The teams scoring were Morehead State 29, Cumber land 49, Western Kentucky 95, Brevard 136, Caison Newman 141, Milligan College 153, and Centre College 201; Union Col lege did not score. John Grady, who finished 18th, was the only one of Bre vard’s runners to win a tro phy. Brevard’s other placers were Bill Triplett 30th, Mike Smith 32nd, Tim Jordan 37th, David Peacock 38th, Stuart Parrish 39th, Charles Summett 41st, and Tim Braxton 45th.
