Carol Grahl, the four-year
old son of Dr. and Mrs. Carol
Grahl, drops by occasionally
on Wednesday afternoon with
his father to see if The Times
has gone to press.
Tlie other afternoon young
Cafol walked over to Mrs.
Kate Rowe’s desk as if to ask
“what are you doing?”
Instead, Kate asked,
“Carol what have you been
doing?”
After a pause, he said he
had been thinking about a
red apple.
Kate looked around and
noticed that there was a red
apple on her desk that some
one had brought her that
morning.
PS — Carol got, the apple.
You might say that Carol is
one of our best friends in the

The party his granddaughter,
Mrs. Thomas Barclay, IV, gave
him at the Elks club was one

At 88, he’s still a ball of fire,
and he spent most of the day

grass at the Old Country Club.

It’s good to see Bob Daniels out

And on the golf course too.
We managed to get in a game

An American and a Russian

the Russian.
“Ifl His country,” said the
American, “I can walk up to

“That’s nothing,” replied the

This might cause a temporary inconvenience to
our customers while the remodeling is going on, but it
won’t last long.
Bjr the middle of this month we hope to have this
work completed, which will allow us to better serve
our many friends and customers from larger and more

Until then, we are still carrying on business as

noisy at times.
So please pardon our dust! It’ll be gone soon!
