George Reynolds Promoted
In Olin’s Ecusta Division
George W. Reynolds has been
promoted to Quality Control Su
pervisor in the Quality Control
Department of Olin Corpora
tion’s Ecusta Paper Division,
according to Charles D. Nor
lander, Manager of Quality Con
trol.
Mr. Reynolds was a Project
Engineer in the Product and
Process Engineering Group of
Ecusta’s Technical Department
before transferring to Quality
Control. He was employed in
September 1969 as a Research
Engineer in the Research and
Development Department and
subsequently was Product Man
ager, Tobacco Products.
A native of Charleston, W.
Va., he graduated from Stone
wall Jackson High School there
and received a B. S. degree in
Chemistry from Morris Harvey
College at Charleston. He is a
member of the American Chem
ical Society.
Mr Reynolds was an advisor
served by the ladies of Pisgah
Chapter, No. 198, Order of the
Eastern Star, and wives of the
Masons from 6:00 to 7:00
o’clock.
Following the supper at 7:00
o’clock, the Masons will assem
ble in the lodge room and wit
ness the conferring of the sec
ond section of the Master
Mason’s degree, which will be
conferred by the outstanding
degree team of Excelsior Lodge
No. 261, Charlotte. This same
degree team visited the local
lodge and conferred the third
degree several years ago.
Mr. Jerome states the mem
bership names have been di
vided among the officers and
some of the members to contact
the Masons wives and ask them
to prepare a covered dish for
their husbands to bring to the
meeting. They are to have the
