Speakers are Evangelist Claud Johnson and Reverend Doug Worley, Pastor. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Killian and son, Brian Greer, visited with Charles Morgan and fam ily Sunday. Mrs. Howard Setzer of Cand ler spent a few days here last week visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Reed. Arnold Brown of the Turk ey Creek section visited the John Reed family. Mrs. Emily Capps of Hender sonville spent several days recently visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Landreth. We are glad that Mrs. Louise Dockery was able to attend church services Sunday. At Silvermont * Transylvania Art Guild To Hold Open House, Nov. 3-4 The first open house for the Transylvania Art Guild will be held at Silvermont on November 3rd - 4th, between the hours of 1:00 p. m. and 6:00 p. m. The public is in vited to browse or buy. Each month, during open house, a free painting or other work of art will be given away to registered visitors. Gerry Wright was chosen to be the donor of the first paintings to be given away. She has chosen a pair of her well known “Little People” to be the prize. The drawing will be held at 4:30 p. m. on November 4th. Each member of the Transyl vania Art Guild is allowed tc submit two paintings each month for hanging at Silver mont. Artists may also display smaller paintings on open house dates. The Art Guild’s pre-Christ mas show will be at Brevard’s American Legion building on December 6th, 7th, and 8th.
