The Transylvania Times A State And National Prize-Winning Home Town Newspaper _SEC0ND CLASS POSTAGE PAID AT BREVARD. N. C. ZIP CODE 28712 Scottish Rite Bodies To Have Banquet In Brevard' June 14th - Emett D. Chandler, secretary ; of the Scottish Rite bodies in ; Asheville, extends a cordial in vitation to all Masons in Tran ' sylvania county to attend a free £ dinner in the dining room of ? Dunn’s Rock Masonic tanple on ■ Friday, June 14th, at 7:00 p.m. ■ as a guest of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in The Valley of Asheville. | This is really a get-together ; of all Masons of any and all degrees who find it possible to attend. “We wiD have dinner follow ed by a few remarks from one of our Brethren and just a good old-fashioned visit among our selves where we can renew old acquaintances, talk to old friends, and shake hands with everyone,” say the officers. “We hope that every Mason in the area who possibly can, will attend. We may miss mail ing an invitation to a few but take it on yourself to talk this thing up and if you meet a brother who has not received an invitation, you invite him and bring him along. We want this to be the biggest and best Masonic meeting ever held in North Carolina,” Mr. Chandler states. The secretary of the Scottish Rite bodies continues: ‘‘reser vation cards have been sent along with the invitations and the Masons are asked to mail them back at once, as June 10th is deadline to make reser vations in order we will have time to prepare food for the proper number.” The food will be prepared and served by the ladies of Pisgah Chapter No. 198 Order of the Eastern Star.
