This is what the Sun expected
Judge Justice to say, and we are
glad we were not disappointed.
It would be a pity to take a man
of his fine experience and judici

he fills so well. So we are glad

A short while later Rollins was
tried in mayor's court for being

In the organization of the new
county board of education Mr. J.
D.s- Patton, of Flat Rock, was
elected chairman. Mr. Patton is
one of the most substantial citi
zens of the county, and has taken
an active interest in educational
affairs. The chairman should be
located at or near the "county
seat" and the board of education
doubtless had the convenience of
all concerned in mind when the
selection of Mr. Patton as presid
ing officer was decided upon. 1
