RiiGlisr The relatives : and friends 'of this community were called upon to mourn the loss of one of our oldest - and best men, C. - M. Fletcher. After an active 'and useful life, on Friday morning, June 10th at 7 o'clock closed his eyes to Tall earthly scenes to awaken -in the bright celestial city which God prepared for him. For over . 42 years he' was a continuous member of the Epis copal Church at Calvary, and during all these years in the ser vice of God he was always faith ful to its principles. Exemply fing in his daily life the high and lofty ideal of a Christian. . As a citizen and a neighbor he had the love and esteem of all who knew him. To know him was but to love him. He lived not for self but the good he could do unto others. He was always raedy, to lend a helping hand to those who were needy and distressed. He has left a vacancy which no one can fill. Notwithstanding these sad cir cumstances we will have-to bow our heads in humble' submission to Him ''who doeth all things well. " . ; " ; Mr. Fletcher was a kind and affectionate husband and a loving father. Out of 4 a family of eighteen children only two are left to mourn the loss of the de ceased brother, Mrs. A. A. Plumblee and Mr. Irving Flet cher. Mr. Fletcher is survived by-nine children. " To his family whom he loved so well we express our deepest sympathy in their hour of sorrow. While words cannot relieve their sense of bereavement, yet we can.jningle our tears with theirs for a mutual loss. For conso lation we point them to Him who with infinite love is ever ready to heed the sorrow, of his chil dren. - ... Frank Smith. .
