Miss Ficker will take a post-graduate course in Oratory at Brenau dur ing the summer. Stephenson Ward In the Presbyterian church, last Thursday afternoon May 8, at 5 o'clock. Rev. Thos. M. Stephenson and Miss Annie Lou Ward were mar ried by Rev. J. F. Ligon. Mendel ssohn's Wedding March was played by Mrs. J. S. Brown. The wedding was a very quiet one. Rev. and Mrs. Stephenson spent several days at Chimney Rock before going to their home at Summerville, S. C. Rev. Mr. Stephenson has charge, of the Presbyterian Church there. DEATH OF MRS. T. H. LINDSAY Mrs. T. H. Lindsay died Tuesday May 6, at her home near Candler and was buried in Asheville cemetery on Wednesday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Sentelle. Mrs. Lindsay is survived by her husband, one son, one brother, Griffin Stansil, six sisters, Mesdames A. Flecker,- Hendersonville; David S. Hilde brande, Emma Hiidebrande, Jesse L. Ramsey, Asheville; Mrs. Annie Cchaid, Atlanta, Ga., and Miss Flor ence Stansil, Asheville. Mrs. Lindsay had been sick for several months.
