AN ORDINANCE At a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Forest City, held in the Mayor's office, on Friday, September 24th, 1926, the following ordinance was passed: Be it resolved: That on and after November Ist, 1926, all water and light bills are due and payable at the Mayor's office, town of Forest City, N. C., on or before the 10th day of each month. That service will be discontinued where bills are unpaid by the close of business on the 10th day of the month. That a service charge of ifty cents (50c) will be mada for n. con necting any meter that may have been disconnected for failure to pay bills when due. That a collection charge of fifty cents (50c) will be made on all bills unpaid after the 10th day of the month and placed in the hands of the service department for collection. That * all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this or dinance are hereby repealed. Cameron Morrison, of Charlotte, former governor of North Carolina, will deliver an address in the new courthouse Thursday evening, Oc tober 28, at 8 o'clock. His will be the second democratic speech of this campaign delivered in the county and the first in the new courthouse. Mr. Morrison always has an interesting message and a packed house will doubtless hear him. Ladies are especially urged to hear the former governor.
