Every merch ant of Forest City is participating in this big event, and all have made drastic reductions in prices for this event. With winter just around the corner the hundreds of Courier readers should read carefully these ads and make the purchases of win ter necessities for the family now while the prices are more favorable. All-of Forest City's merchants are advertising real bargains for these three days, and no thrifty head of the house can afford to pass up such buying op|K>rtunity as will be presented Friday, vSaturday and Monday. ORGANIZE GIRLS' AUXILIARY Caroleen, Sept. 28. —On Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock a Girls' Auxiliary was organized at Caroleen Baptist Church, with sixteen members enrolled as follows: Mary Sue Wil son, Pearl Mitchell, Edith Hamrick Wilmoth Deßrule, Juanita McAllis ter, Ruth Allen, Mary Sue Lancaster, Pearl Bailey, Vera Beachboard, Mavis Robertson, Ruth Berean Hughes, Marie Garrett, Francis Hol land, Josie Jolley, Ethel Hawkiilfe. The evening's program was in charge of Dr. W. C. Bostic, Jr., and was a doctor-doiggists-dentist night.
