BAPTIST CHURCH NOTES
J
A number were absent from the
services last Sunday account of the
influenza. We have had several cases
here, but fortunately there have been
no serious results that we have heard
of except Mr. Early who is at the
Rutherford Hospital for treatment.
Rev. R. C. Smith brought two fine
messages Sunday morning and eve
ning and the B. Y. P. U.'s are doing
good work with a good attendance
considering the fact that many are J
ill.
The Wednesday evening services
are very interesting as well as in
structive. The pastor is giving lec
tures in the study of the Bible and
all are asked to take part in the
study and discussion. Next Wednes
day evening the second book of
Chronicles will be studied.
