JUNIOR MUSIC CLUB MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY The second meeting of the Junior Music club was held last Wednesday afternoon in the music room of the High school. It was the best meeting of the year. Almost forty member were present and several visitors. The Jun iors are doing same very constructive work along musical lines, and are putting on programs that reflect much credit to themselves and their respective teachers. All music stu dents in Forest City are eligible to this club, and should enjoy the priv ilege of membership. Meetings are held every third Wednesday. On March 20th, Chopin is the special composer to be studied, at which time Miss Goggans, our Jun ior leader, has promised to play a group of Chopin solos. Hostesses for the afternoon were Dorothy Turner, Martha Moores, Katherine Bradley and Cordie Walk er. "Eskimo Pies" were enjoyed. Special guests were Mrs. R. E. A. observed Founders' Day at their regular monthly meet ing, and an interesting program was given, tribute being paid to the founders of the association thirty jtwo years ago. A prize was given the 'grade reporting the highest number ! of new members for the P. T. A. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Edwards, of Caroleen, entertained at a delight ful buffet dinner |>n Friday eve ning, the 22nd. The decorations, fav ors bridge scores and tallies were at tractively suggestive of the George Washington motif. Mr. Edwards, as sisted by Mrs. Asbury, served a most tempting dinner; after which the guests enjoyed an historical contest; the prize being won by Prof. W. M. Lovelace.
