WHAT DR. CALDWELL
LEARNED IN 47
YEARS PRACTICE
A physician watched the results oi
constipation for 47 years, and believed
that no matter how careful people are of
their health, diet and exercise, constipa
tion will occur from time to time. Of
next importance, then, is how to treat
it when it comes. Dr. Caldwell always
vas in favor of getting as close to nature
as possible, hence his remedy for consti
pation. known as Dr. Caldwell's Syrup
Pepsin, is a mild vegetable compound.
It can not harm the system and is not
habit forming. Syrup Pepein is pleasant
tasting, and youngsters love it.
Dr. Caldwell did not approve of
drastic physics and purges. He did not
believe they were good for anybody's
system. In a practice of 47 years he
never saw any reason for their use when
Svrnp Pepsin will empty the bowels just
as promptly.
Do not let a day go by without a
bowel movement. Do not sit and hope,
but go to the nearest druggist and get
one of the generous bottles of Dr. Cald
well's Syrup Pepsin, or write "Syrup
Pepsin," Dept. 88, Monti cello, Illinois,
for free trial bottle.

THE fundamental reason for the success of practically every busi
ness that is successful, undoubtedly, is the character, initiati\e and abil
ity of its owner, or those who are directing it.
But there are other reasons that contribute very largely to the wel
fare of a business, and among the chief of them is a good banking con
nection. Probably no other agency outside of your business is so great
a factor in the growth and development of your business as your bank.
Business habits, practices and customs, nowadays, must be mod
ern, practical and efficient if business is to be successful. Competi
tion is too strenuous to allow anything except your best efforts.
A sound banking connection protects your money,-promotes good
business habits, and gives you a firmer financial standing and credit.
