Spindale, Sept. 2.—A large six
room house, owned by the estate of
the late M. Levi, and occupied by
Mr. W. M. Ray and family, was
burned late Sunday afternoon, being
a complete loss. The origin of the
fire is unknown, and was not noticed
until after the entire house was
almost a mass of flames. The fam

The house was locked, which pre

bed clothing and a graphophone was
saved. Mr. Ray's loss was about
seven hundred dollars. The house,
worth about $1,500 to $2,000, was
not insured.
