SPINDALE WOMAN DIED THURSDAY Mr. O c tavie Hamrick, Aged 69 Passes—Funeral Held at _Shiloh Saturday., Spindale, June 9.—Funeral ser vices for Mrs. Octavie Hamrick, aged 69 years and eleven months, wer e held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at Shiloh Baptist church. Rev. M. M. Huntley was in charge of the service, assisted by Rev. B. P. Parks, pastor of the Spindale Baptist church, and Rev. H. C. Cul breth. Interment was in the Shiloh cemetery. Mrs. Hamrick died Thursday even ing at six o'clock, at the home of her son, 0. 0. Hamrick, in Spindale, after only two days illness. She was taken ill Tuesday evening at seven i o'clock, and "her condition grew worse until death claimed her Thurs day. ; She is survived by four children, i two sons and two daughters, as fol lows: O. O. Hamrick, Spindale; J. B. .Hamrick, Knoxville, Tenn., Mrs. E. |M. Devinney, of Rutherfordton, R-l; jand Miss Ila Hamrick, of Spindale. Three brothers and two sisters sur vive, as follows: Pryer Hamrick, Spindale; Rev. B. M. Hamrick, Rufh 'erfordton, R-l; Mj. L. Hamrick, Spin dale; Mrs. J. B. Mrs. Hamrick was born July 2, ilß6o. Her maiden name was Hani !rick.
