Har din, of Spindale, died July 28. She was one month and 18 days old. Fun eral services were conducted at the home of the parents by Rev. T. M. Hester. (Broadus Wiilson and Miss Clark and another young lady, whose name we cannot re member just now, left here last Saturday morning, for their home at St. Petersburg, Fla., after spend ing some time here with Mr. and Mrs. W. B. JVilson. Mrs. Errin McMurry, of New York, has been spending a few weeks with Mr. and Mrs. G. P., McMurry. She left for her home last Thursday, accompanied by her brother-in-law, Mr. Wesley Mc- Murry, who will remain in New York indefinitely, where he will have a position and an 'opportunity to at tend school part time. Miss Mavoreen Lemmons, student nurse at the Emergency hospital at Washington, D. C., has returned to Washington after spending her va cation here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Q. W. Lemmons. Mrs. W. The Community Prayer meetings are ofK in attendance but we are having good meetings every Tues day at 2:30 p. m., at the home of Mrs. J. P. Carpenter at the hotel. ' According to reports one of the best series of revival meetings held in many years is in progress at Mt. Pleasant Baptist church, just over the Cleveland county line inear here. HOLLY SPRINGS Harris, R-l, Aug. 3.—The revival meeting at Holly Springs closed Sun day night with an addition of seven converts which will be baptized Sun day afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the pool near the church. Many back sliders came back and rededicated their lives to God. Rev. Graham did some fine preaching and we hope much good was accomplished.
