PAGE TWO CHIMNEY ROCK MOUNTAINS SOLD Property Brings SBOO,OOO Un der Foreclosure Sale—Two Cases in Supreme Court. Rutherfordton, Nov. 24.—One of the largest foreclosure sales ever held in Rutherford county took place here last Thursday at noon ivhen a deed of trust executed by Chimney Rock Mountains, Inc., dat ed December 1, 1925 to the Central Bank and Trust Co., of Asheville was bid in for SBOO,OOO. The bid was made by the Consolidated Realty Co., and included the real estate holdings of the Chimney Rock mately 6,000 acres of land, lying in and around Lake Lure. It includ ed all the holdings of the Chimney Rock Mountains, Inc., except the Take and dam, which was sold some time ago to another firm. Cases In High Court.
